Mauricio Mejía promoted to Professor

Transformation Lab's Director Mauricio Mejía has been promoted to Professor (full) at Arizona State University starting Fall 2024. Prof. Mejía has published his work in prominent venues such as The Design Journal, the Journal of Design Research, the Journal of Intellectual Capital, Interdisciplinary Science Reviews, the International Journal of Art & Design Education, the Participatory Design Conference, and the Design Research Society Conference. Dr. Mejía received a PhD in Design from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a Master of Design degree from the University of Cincinnati. He has 20 years of teaching experience in design programs and other disciplines. He joined ASU in 2018. Before that, he was an Associate Professor at Universidad de Caldas, Colombia.
